Uprock Social Club - The Invisible |
| Event Description |
This is the second Uprock Social Club, which allows people to pay as little or as much as they like to see a band we're really passionate about - in this instance the Mercury nominated The Invisble.
"Back in February we hosted Mumford and Sons. They're an incredible band and we really wanted as many people from around the area to see them play live, without being put off by an admission fee.
"The night was completely packed and a big success, so we're sticking by our word by doing the same again.
"The Invisible are a great band to follow on from Mumford and Sons. They've produced one of the most highly acclaimed albums of the year, narrowly missed out on the Mercury Prize, and are superb live. We want people to come and enjoy a high calibre of band playing in Ipswich - so come along, enjoy the night, and pay as little or as much as you like."
Support on the night comes from The Kabeedies, from Norfolk and Suffolk, who are about to release their debut album.
