Hello! We are Playing With Fire. Selecting our name was a tough process which involved much wailing and gnashing of teeth!
We have been together in our current line-up since February 2008. We were also an instrumental band for six months prior to that.
We are currently in the process of writing and recording our first album. We feel that this is going very well. The band are it's own biggest critics but have managed to write some material which we are all very proud of. On top of this, we have learnt many covers. These range from Iron Maiden and Saxon, to Michael Jackson and Aerosmith.
We feel that it has been a very sucessful twelve months for us as a band. We have managed to win a battle of the bands competiton, we have played parties, fetes and other events around the county. Undoubtedly, our biggest sucess was seeing off 30 other bands from the area to play at the Corn Exchange - an experience we throughly enjoyed and recieved some good advice and feedback.
In the next twelve months, we hope to add as many events to our calender as we can. We all love playing gigs and our fantastic family, friends and fans would all love to come and see us again. We do have one of the loudest bases in the country - maybe second to Iron Maiden; but it's very close.
